Dr. Jeff Hartwell, D.C.
As a child, my mother was helped immensely with
migraine headaches, neck and back pain by her chiropractor. I was so
impressed with this that I decided to pursue a chiropractic career as a 9th
grader. I am a 1988 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College. I
obtained a Licensed Massage Therapist status while attending Chiropractic
College, and was able to supplement my hands on experience by working with
athletes and other patients for years prior to graduating as a chiropractor.
From 1988 through 1992, I worked as an associate
doctor at Robinson Chiropractic Clinic in Molalla, OR, where in addition to
standard treatment, I was able to run a rehab center for injury recovery.
We opened our first Canby clinic in 1992. This we outgrew in less than one
year. In our second Canby facility we started to diversify and add massage
therapists, associate chiropractors, a naturopath, and an acupuncturist.
In 2002, we moved into our current, and largest clinic building in the Hi-Way
Marketplace in Canby, OR.
I enjoy treating all kinds of conditions involving
the muscles, bones, joints, and nerves. Patients often comment on the
thoroughness of my care. A careful look at the musculoskeletal system from
the feet to the head is a must when treating many cases. I give credit to
the Lord Jesus Christ for the gifts He has given me in being compassionate and
skilled in using my hands to assist in patient's recovery. |

Dr. Daniel Chong,
N. D.
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of
Oregon in 1996, and my doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the
National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in 2000. Since
graduating from NCNM, I have maintained a private practice in Portland,
until deciding to move to Canby this year. I have also done a fair bit
of writing on a variety of health topics and I have published articles
with the popular health website
Mercola.com.
As a naturopath I work with men, women and children of
all ages, spending time with each patient to listen and understand them,
as well as to teach them. I treat a wide variety of acute and chronic
conditions, preferring to rely on methods that support, rather than
suppress your body’s healing efforts. In doing so, I also do my best to
select from therapies that have been derived from nature, though I will
prescribe pharmaceutical prescriptions and refer to medical specialists
if necessary.
I have extensive training and a special interest in the
area of diet and nutrition and its profound effect on overall health. I
work with any area of concern here, including diagnosis and treatment of
food allergies, weight loss, and simple healthy eating. I also give
tips on food shopping and cooking using healthy ingredients. In addition
to healthy diet and lifestyle counseling, I frequently treat my patients
with nutritional supplements, homeopathic and herbals medicines, vitamin
injections, prolotherapy,
and trigger point injections.
